Symposium on Bilingual Education. 26th of June, 2009

 

A one day symposium on bilingual education will be held by AIATSIS at the National Museum of Australia, Canberra on the 26th of June. For further information and to register click here 

 

 

National Native Title Conference

The Native Title Research Unit (NTRU) hosts the national Native Title Conference annually.  Information on this year's Native Title Conference can be found here.

 

Australian Languages Workshop 2009

AIATSIS and The School of Language Studies, ANU is co-hosting the Australian Languages Workshop 2009.  

 

 

Research Seminars

The Research Section hosts two seminar series each year on selected themes as well as occasional seminars.  While generally of academic interest, the seminars are open to the public. After speaking, presenters usually have time for questions from the audience.

 

Seminars are usually held weekly - during lunchtime on Mondays. 

 

The first seminar series in 2009 begins on the 2nd of February. 

 

The theme is: "Giving an Account of Ourselves: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Philosophy, Knowledge and View."
