Leila Smith is a Wiradjuri woman from New South Wales. Leila is currently undertaking a BA at the Australian National University. She is a part-time research assistant in the Aboriginal health research team at AIATSIS. There she is working with Jilpia Nappaljari Jones and Dr Gordon Briscoe to write a history of the National Trachoma and Eye Health Program from an Aboriginal perspective.
