Lara joined the NTRU as a Research Assistant in December 2003
and commenced in the position of Project Officer in October 2004.
Lara has previously worked as a Heritage Policy Officer with
Aboriginal Affairs Victoria and as an Anthropologist/Research
Officer with the Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority in Alice
Springs. She has a particular research interest in the recognition
and exercise of native title rights and interests; and cultural
heritage protection and legislative regimes.
Current Research Focus
Lara is currently working on the
Prescribed Bodies Corporate
research project and
NTRU web resources.
