Loading up powerpoint and presentation materials
Please bring your powerpoint presentation on USB drives. There is a speakers' prep room for the Shine Dome (Australian Academy of Science) venue - please bring your powerpoint to the prep room on the morning of your presentation (or sooner if possible). In all other venues, the powerpoint will be loaded directly onto the venue laptop, again please bring your USB to the venue in good time. You will be able to access the internet from the venue laptops, and also to play CD/DVDs.
Audio and Visual Recording Permissions
To increase accessibility to the symposium (and in keeping with the theme), we will be audio and film recording so that these can be placed on the AIATSIS website. From at least one venue we will live webcast the presentations. Recordings will then be placed in the AIATSIS collections. If you do not wish your presentation to be webcast or recorded please let the organisers know as soon as possible so that the technical team can be informed well in advance. If you would like to provide instructions as to how your presentation can be used by AIATSIS please fill in the attached form (29Kb) and return by email as soon as possible.
