Dr Graham Henderson


Dr Graham Henderson’s main area of research interest is Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, and more specifically within the area of public health, primary health care, and the social determinants of health. Graham

As a Research Fellow at AIATSIS, Graham was also part of the Cooperative Research Centre for Aboriginal Health. He has conducted research in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations and communities in diverse locations throughout Australia. 

Previous research focus

Graham is currently working with four Aboriginal Medical Services in the ACT and NSW in the area of social and emotional wellbeing. He and his colleagues also have a research interest in the health and welfare of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people caught up in the justice system, including inmates, their families, and health care workers.
