This year's featured artist is photographer Kerstin Styche.
Kerstin is a proud Wiradjuri woman who was born and raised in Canberra. She completed a Bachelor of Design (Photography) at the Canberra Institute of Technology in 2010. She has always had a passion for photography, and studied it as a major subject at high school. In 2006 she won a Photographic Technician Traineeship position at the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS). She is currently employed as the Senior Photographic Technician at AIATSIS. Her passion lies mostly in portrait and landscape photography. In 2011 she is ACT's NAIDOC Artist of the Year.
