The Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies and The  New South Wales Native Title Services invite you to join us in Coffs Harbour, NSW for the Native Title Conference 2005—The Human Face Of Native Title. 

Pre conference workshops for NTRB's will be held on Wednesday 1 June 2005 (9.00am-5.00pm).

A Gumbaynggirr Welcome to Country will be held on the evening of Wednesday 1 June 2005 (5.00pm-6.30pm)

This comprehensive national conference addresses the cutting edge of native title research and practice. It is an opportunity for networking and information sharing between the staff of representative bodies, academics, legal counsel and government. The conference is also a development opportunity for native title representative body staff, executive and practitioners and all who wish to remain informed of current practice, governance, and law and policy development.

Conference registration is now open. To register for the conference go to the Registration Form, print out the page, fill in your details and send or fax the form, with payment, to AIATSIS.

The public program for the Native Title Conference begins on Thursday 2 June 2005.

Note: Due to space considerations delegate numbers will be restricted to 500.
