Claire Stacey is a Project Manager in the Native Title Research Unit. Claire has a background in community development and anthropology and has recent completed a Masters in Applied Anthropology and Participatory Development at the Australian National University focusing on Indigenous community development and public policy. Claire has worked in the private, not-for-profit and government sectors, and has experience working on community development projects in both urban and remote areas of Australia, as well as internationally. Claire has worked at AIATSIS since 2010 across a number of research projects focused on the post determination landscape for native title holders, including joint management, caring for country, community development and housing. Claire is now working with traditional owners through the PBC Support Project, which aims to support the growing number of native title holders to manage their traditional land and waters.
