Bhiamie Williamson grew up in Mount Isa in North West Queensland with his Mother’s family coming from Cloncurry and his Father’s family from Goodooga in NSW. Bhiamie is a descendent of the Euhalia (Yuwaalaraay) peoples of Northern NSW. Bhiamie works in the NTRU as a project officer, facilitating Native Title publications and also participating on Research Projects. Enrolled at the ANU in a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Political Science and Environmental Studies, Bhiamie is undertaking an honors year looking at Cultural and Natural Resource Management initiatives in the NT, South West Gulf of Carpentaria.
