Amity is a descendent of the Batjula people from the Maryborough and Fraser Island area in QLD. Amity has worked at AIATSIS since 2003 and spent 6yrs of that time working as the publishing assistant in Aboriginal Studies Press (ASP) until 2010. After returning from maternity leave in 2011 she started working with the Native Title Research Unit and assists with the Prescribed Bodies Corporate (PBC) project and is now the inhouse designer and typesetter for the NTRU publications and resources. |
