    The Aboriginal Heritage Office is a joint initiative by Lane Cove, Manly, North Sydney, Warringah and Willoughby councils, in a progressive move to protect Aboriginal Heritage in these areas.

    The Burrup Peninsula is the largest land mass in the Dampier Archipelago. It has the largest collection of petroglyphs ( rock art ) in the world. The Dampier Rock Art Precinct is under threat from industry. The National Trust of Australia (WA) has created this website to campaign for its protection.
