Responsibilities of Users in the AIATSIS Library

 

  1. All bags should be left in lockers available at the Information Desk in the Rom Gallery.

  2. Readers are required to take the upmost care of all material in the Library's collections.

  3. Items that have been issued to a particular reader must not be handed on to another reader.

  4. Readers must not use their own disks with the Library's computers. Disks are available for sale at the Reference Desk.

  5. Readers may not remove Library material from the Stanner Room.

  6. Before leaving the Library, readers must return all books issued to them to a member of staff at the Reference Desk.

  7. Readers must not bring into the Stanner Room any materials that might damage items in the collections eg food, drink, scissors etc.

  8. Readers must not drink or eat in the Stanner Room.

  9. Readers must turn off any mobile phones before entering the Stanner Room.
