A public phone is available in the Rom Gallery. Change is available from the AIATSIS book shop.

Food
Drinks and food are available at a number of cafes in the National Museum of Australia. Other venues are available in and around the Civic area (Canberra City). Other venues are :
- National Film and Sound Archive Cafe - McCoy Circuit, Acton - 6248 2000
- Institute of Art Cafe
- Australian National University (University House)
- Bobby McGee’s (Rydges Hotel) - on the Bus 34 route from AIATSIS to City.
- Ferry terminal kiosk (generally open over summer months)
- Bike hire cafe (100m from the Ferry terminal kiosk).

Toilets
Toilets, including a disabled toilet are located near the Information Desk in the Rom Gallery.
Parking
Free parking is available. Disabled parking is available.
Public transport
Canberra's ACTION Bus Service route 34 runs through the area regularly from both Woden and Canberra City, and from Belconnen via the Australian National University– check the timetables for
routes.
Taxis are another alternative – phone 13 2227
