Planning for the ride by Student Action for Aborigines (SAFA)
The group, Student Action for Aborigines (SAFA), was set up by University of Sydney students to undertake activities to raise the awareness of the general public to the low socio-economic living conditions for many Aboriginal people and the discriminatory practices and laws they lived under.
These documents give insights into the thinking of the students at the time and how they raised money to undertake the bus trip.
