Public Lecture by Prof Ann Curthoys at the National Museum of Australia Wednesday 4 September 2002
In 2005 to commemorate forty years since the Freedom Ride, ReconciliACTION NSW, a group of young people in New South Wales who support reconciliation retraced the Freedom Ride. They made an excellent documentary Freedom Rides - 40 years on. More information is available at their website at http://reconciliaction.org.au/nsw/
In 2011 another group of year 12 students from the Central Coast of New South Wales also retraced the path of the Freedom Ride of 1965. Organised by Koori Connect the ride asked Elders at each community what they thought of constitutional recognition.
