Library closed Tuesdays. All bags to be deposited in lockers
Driving
AIATSIS is located next to the National Museum of Australia (NMA) on Acton Peninsula, about 2km southwest of the city centre. Follow signs to the NMA along Northbourne Avenue or Parkes Way.
Parking
All on-site parking is free. Disabled parking facilities are available close to the Institute’s main entrance.
Local bus services
Action bus number 34 operates to the adjacent NMA on weekdays and weekends. For route and timetable information see www.action.act.gov.au
Bicycle
Bicycle paths lead to the Acton Peninsula.
Walking
AIATSIS can be accessed along the northern shore of Lake Burley Griffin.
Restrictions
Smoking and unauthorised use of cameras is prohibited on the Institute’s premises.
